our wedding day was my favorite day. it was simple and sweet and so fun, a lot more fun than i was expecting! (for some reason, i was expecting to be nervous and stressed all day or something?) getting ready with my girls was so much fun. all fourteen of us were crowded in mine & zachs tiny little house, there were mirrors and makeup everywhere! it was such a sweet time though, i absolutely loved it.
here's a story about my lavender bouquet: when i ordered flowers, i completely forgot to order lavender (which was supposed to be my bouquet and part of my crown) and when we picked up the flowers, i had a meltdown! i got over it because it was just a detail and i still was going to be married to my best friend, even without lavender! but then! my wedding coordinator/mother-in-law's bff laura, told me she had lavender growing in her garden!!!!! i was overjoyed and now there's a story about my bouquet.
we decided to plant a tree during our ceremony, for no reason other than we like trees. just kidding. well, we do really like trees but we planted this apple tree to symbolize the fruits of the Spirit and how we can only produce fruit by being connected to the root, which is the Father (and Creator of the Universe).
the sweetest and happiest day in my entire life. i am so so glad to be his wife. thanks Jesus for your incredible blessings.
